  • It is a condition characterized by uncoordinated contractions of esophagus which leads to spasm of esophagus that cause ISCHAEMIA

  1. Chest pain
  2. Dysphagia

Cork screw / Rosary bead / Pseudo diverticula appearance

MANAGEMENT:

Calcium channel blockers and Nitrates - Mainly Medical Management

surgery- Esophagomyotomy  done for reserved cases not responding to medical management
